Daycare description / philosophy

Pine Ridge Children's Centre is licenced as In Home Multi Age Child Care for up to five children and is participating in Childcare Fee Reduction Intiative.

My program offers a varied mix of indoor and outdoor activities aimed at the development of both fine and gross motor skills. I provide craft, story and quite time, along with music and movement and Spanish immersion in my daily program. Two healthy snacks are provided daily.

I am trained and certified as an Early Childhood Educator, have Infant and Toddler Education and over 20 years of experience in different center atmospheres. I also maintain a valid First Aid Certificate.

My Philosophy:
I strive to provide a vital service within our community. I am dedicated to help your child explore the world of social and intellectual development, gain self-esteem and confidence while respecting each child as an important and unique individual. ŸMy program is designed to provide opportunities that will enhance each child's physical, intellectual, emotional, social and moral development. The program reflects individual and group needs while maintaining a nurturing, safe, consistent yet flexible routine. ŸAll families have the primary responsibility for the care and education of their child; I will work closely together to foster each child's development. The early years of a child's life are the most important and we advocate a high level of communication between educator and families.
